A lot of what I write about in this blog is common sense. That’s painfully true for this post.
Ready?
Avoid things that are severely impacted by inflation.

I know, some things are unavoidable: rising rents, rising healthcare premiums, rising childcare costs, rising education costs, etc.
But no one is forcing you to buy chicken or ground beef or eggs. It’s not that difficult to go meatless for a bit. Get creative at the grocery store; only buy products that are on clearance. I do it all the time! Be flexible! Use this as an opportunity to try something new.
Every time you can walk instead of drive, do so. Avoid that pump!
Wait to buy that pre-owned car, if possible. Wait to get that new kitchen appliance, if possible. Avoid air travel, if possible. You can avoid so many price hikes by inconveniencing yourself a bit. It’s not the end of the world.
That’s all.
